Privacy Policy

What we collect
When you upload a PDF, the file is read server-side to extract text, then immediately discarded. We do not store your PDF on disk or in any database. The extracted text is sent to the Anthropic API to generate a plain-language summary, and that summary is held in server memory only long enough to display it to you (typically a few minutes). No personal data from your document is persisted beyond your session.
Cookies & tracking
PolicyPlain does not set any analytics or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
Third-party services
We use the Anthropic APIto process your policy text. Your extracted text is sent to Anthropic's servers subject to their Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with any other third party.
